About Us

Kampot pepper is lauded by celebrity chefs from all over the world for its distinct floral aroma that lingers on the tongue. This renowned quality of kampot pepper stems from the unique combination of natural geographic conditions and traditional farming methods cultivated over multiple generations.

Kampot pepper has a rich heritage that dates back to the 13th century but intensive cultivation only took place during the French protectorate. Despite its tragic past neglect during the Khmer Rouge, a renaissance is afoot and Kampot pepper is reclaiming its glory.

In 2010, Kampot Pepper was the first Cambodian product to be awarded with the Protected Geographical Indication status (PGI). This PGI has been registered in Europe in February 2016.

貢布胡椒产业拥有着非常悠久的历史,从13世纪开始直到法国殖民那时起飞大量。 虽然到了紅色高棉時期被大量摧毁而停产,但是近几年才逐步复苏了曾繁盛一时的胡椒产业。 

2016 在歐盟的認證下,獲得以知名的格呂耶爾乳酪和帕爾瑪火腿為代表的受保护地理性标示 「PGI產地認證」,加入頂級食材的行列中。
